Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I posted anything. Not really any excuse, but well, here I am . . . . finally.

I've got a new country on my 'list'. I just sent a portrait to Singapore today. That means I have portraits hanging in Great Brittan, the Bahamas, France, Viet Nam, Canada, and many many states in the U.S. I used to keep track of them all, but I've given up. I'm sure I've missed a country, too.

I love this romantic new painting. I'm not sure exactly what's going on in the scene, but I've called it "After the Dance" I love the colors and the romantic, almost Art Nouveau feel to it. It's unframed, but I think it would look great in an ornate frame. Actually it's rather colorist, so it would translate well to a more contemporary view, too. I just like the ornate frame LOL

The small town of Dublin, Texas has been making Dr. Pepper using cane sugar instead of corn syrup for many years. Recently, the big bad Dr. Pepper company put a stop to it. There is no more Dublin Dr. Pepper. This is a memorial painting :( in honor of small towns, and real cane sugar :)

I Am Not a Morning Person

I can't believe how long it's been since I managed to get something posted here. The winter and rainy spring have been perfect weather for Bluebonnets here in Texas. This is the first of several bluebonnet paintings I will be posting in the coming days. I spotted this Longhorn steer surrounded by the beautiful flowers while I was driving one morning.
